With the specified support from multiple donors, BTCV has initiated a phased pilot project to support education, resources, and infrastructure for clean water, sanitation, health and hygiene towards implementation of sustainable local quality education opportunities for South Sudan’s Rumbek-area Cattle Camp Communities, with a specific focus on education for girls. In partnership with Akuong United National Development Organization (AUNDO) in South Sudan, Tracy Itty is leading this project for BTCV. As defined milestone metrics for impact and sustainability are met and dedicated funding is available, BTCV will continue to support this project with the potential for sending volunteer teams in the future.
